MCMULLEN SF

When fashion trailblazer Sherri McMullen chose a blank slate on Sacramento Street to open her first San Francisco store, we were thrilled to be asked to design a space that represented the McMullen brand, with touches of the Presidio Heights neighborhood’s stateliness.

We added crown and panel mouldings to the walls, created an additional ADA-accessible dressing room, removed vinyl flooring (and painted the underlying concrete white!), and brought some of our residential interiors mindset to the customer seating area, storefront, and staff restroom! Custom racks and a custom jewelry table beautifully display the store’s designer apparel + accessories, while the glowy fitting rooms feature our Riviere sconces. One of the subtle transformations we brought to the store’s functionality was opening a door into the rear staff + storage area, and disguising it as a mirror (previously, one had to go in and out of a customer fitting room to access toe rear area!). McMullen SF opened in August 2024, and the opening was featured in Vogue.
